FEELING SAFE: A MESSAGE FOR ALL YOUTH MEMBERS
A Scout is respectful - this applies to everyone at the Jamboree.
Everyone in Scouts, Youth and Adults alike, has the right to feel safe and be protected from abuse. No-one should ever threaten you, hurt you, or touch you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or afraid.
All Leaders are trained to help you if you feel unsafe in any way - you do not have to deal with this on your own. If you do feel unsafe or threatened or you see/hear something that causes you concern, please speak to a Leader in your Unit or on the activity. Your concerns will be listened to and the information you provide will only be shared with people who can provide support and protect you.
If you are not sure what to do, please talk to someone at your Contingent Headquarters.
Or find a Safety & Security Leader (wearing a bright yellow vest) and ask them for assistance.
