On behalf of Scouts Queensland we look forward to the exciting challenge of hosting such a special and significant major event.
Attendance at a major national event by a young person is not only a great experience but provides an enormous opportunity for personal development for those who attend - it is likely to be one of the highlights of their lives.
The objective of all major national events is to provide young people with an active program that encourages participation and learning and that includes activities that stimulate their physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development both singularly and collectively. The fun and magic of a major national event is the result of bringing together a large number of Scouts from all over Australia and the World, to live and play together in a Scouting environment.
I am extremely proud to lead an experienced and well-prepared team of Scouting people to put the event together. We look forward to hosting approximately 9,500 participants and supporters and welcoming over 5,000 visitors during the Jamboree. I look forward to seeing you all having a great time and enjoying “Your Quest, Your Way” at AJ2025.
