Each of the three participant Subcamps (Cheeli, Fraser Coast, and Tuan) has a dedicated Logistics Node, known as the Logistics-Corner Store. This Corner Store has been designed to provide Logistics support, in particular Catering, to Units.
The Logistics Corner Store team are a friendly bunch and will help as much as they can to see that the Units are happy and fed. They are your point of contact should you have any concerns relating to Logistics and Catering, so please drop by and have a chat if you need to.
The Logistics Corner Store is the place to:
- Collect initial issues of AJ2025 supplied equipment (See 3.3 Unit Issues).
- Collect the daily rations resupply each afternoon.
- Collect allocated rations relating to 'Special Diet/Modified Menu' requirements.
- Collect allocated milk supplies as required.
- Collect the daily fresh bread supplies (approx. 0600).
- Collect ice resupplies (approx. 6 x 5kg bags per Unit). Note that each fresh food supply esky will contain ice.
- Swap'n'Go gas cylinders when required.
- Collect resupply items for the 'Starter Pack' when required.
- Pick-up (after dinner) your Unit's ice-cream allocation when on the menu
- Collect a range of supplementary items, as required.
- Request reasonable “extras” (with at least 48 hours' notice) should a Unit want to add a twist to their meals, such as some exotic spice.
Logistics - Corner Store Hours
Operating hours will be displayed at the Store. Please note these will vary as the delivery order to Subcamps will rotate, so Duty Patrol needs to check timing each day. Duty Patrol should bring their trek cart to collect supplies.
- 0545 – 0730 - particularly for the collection of milk, fresh bread and ice.
- 1230 – 1400 or 1330 – 1500 - to align with daily ration deliveries.
- 1630 – 1830 - particularly to support dinner preparations and resupplies of ice and milk; this period will be extended when ice-cream is on the menu.
