Jamboree participants MUST wear their identification (ID) on their Jamboree lanyard at all times. Anyone not wearing an ID may be removed from site.
Unaccompanied visitors to the Jamboree should have ID tags, so if you see someone on-site without ID please advise the nearest Safety & Security Leader (wearing a yellow vest). On Visitors Days authorised visitors will be wearing wristbands.
Youth members will not be able to participate in activities without their ID.
If you lose your ID please visit the Jamboree Support Centre. Temporary IDs will be available at the Bus Terminal and Jamboree Support Centre to allow you to go offsite if your ID has been lost. When you return to site, you must return the temporary ID to the Jamboree Support Centre and collect your replacement permanent ID.
Participants may tuck their ID inside their shirt to keep it safe whilst participating in activities and moving around.
Participants must display their ID tag when asked to do so by any other person.
Each card has a coloured box next to the profile picture to allow for quick and easy identification of roles. The colours are:
- Green - Scouts and Venturer Scouts
- Maroon - Venturer Scout Service Leaders
- Orange - Jamboree Scout Leaders and general Line Leaders
- Blue - General Admission including Rover Scouts, Service Leaders, Part Time Workers and Adult Helpers 18 Years+
- Grey - Contractors, both residential and non-residential.
- Those with a blue border are residential contractors who are permitted to stay past visitor hours.
- Black - Arena Staff
- Red - Access All Areas
- Yellow - Visitors (not including those attending as part of the Visitors Days)
- Those with a red border are visitors that must be escorted at all times.
Card Tags
A card may have one or more tags which will be printed at the bottom of the tag. Tags are used to easily identify key information about participants and others onsite:
