Dehydration - What colour is your pee?
- You need to be drinking water throughout the day as it will be very easy to become dehydrated. Fill up your water bottle before you leave camp and top it up at activities.
- Keep an eye on your pee colour and drink more water if not the right colour. You do not need “rehydration” sachets - just drink water often & lots of it.
- Beware of the dangers of physical exhaustion, sunstroke and sunburn, and dehydration.
- Make sure you get sufficient sleep, wear sun protective clothing and use sunscreen, and drink lots of water to ensure your Jamboree experience is enjoyable and memorable.
- Remember, the Jamboree is being held in the middle of summer, and temperatures can often reach the high 30s - with high humidity, ugh.
