Scouts are always up for a challenge, so take on one (or both) of these Patrol Challenges:
1. Organise a meal swap with another Patrol – you have dinner with their Unit, and they have dinner with your Unit.
- Make sure you organise this in advance and let your Unit Leader know what’s going on so they are expecting some strangers in their midst (and so they feed them).
- Pay attention to any dietary needs.
2. The special Patrol challenge – challenge a neighbouring Patrol.
- Challenge them to what? How about a game of Cricket? Frisbee? Trivia Comp? Whatever…
- Make it last at least 30 minutes and spend some time getting to know your neighbours.
- Run the plan by Unit Council and agree on the rules.
- Struggling for ideas? Ask your Jamboree Scout Leader.
