Get ready for a wet & wild day of water and beach activities. Swim in the waters of Hervey Bay and try snorkelling to look for aquatic wildlife. Participate in seaside challenges, beach games, water games and enjoy the sand. Have a go at stand-up paddle boarding along the foreshore. Build a raft and sail around the waters enjoying the sunshine.
Don’t forget to slip, slop, slap, seek and slide, as you’ll be out in the elements for the majority of the activity.
Timing
- Full Day Activity
- Assemble at the Bus Terminal (#39 on map) between 0720 and 0735hrs - PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY
What to Wear
- Sun safe and appropriate beachwear (including a long sleeved shirt or rashie)
- Hat
- Water activity shoes to protect their feet on hard surfaces
What to Bring
- Drink Bottle (full) - to be carried with you as bags cannot be taken onto the beach
- Any personal medications
- Great attitude and a sense of adventure
- Sunscreen
- AJ2025 Passport and ID Tag - please place passports in a zip lock bag to hand into registration.
- Morning/Afternoon Tea, Snack and Lunch
- A change of clothes
- A bag to carry wet and sandy clothes and shoes
- Towel
