Travelling to and from the Jamboree with your Contingent:
- Your Contingent will advise you what to wear travelling to and from the Jamboree.
Opening and Closing Ceremonies:
- Scout Uniform is to be worn to the Opening Ceremony.
- The Jamboree Polo Shirt is worn for the Closing Ceremony.
Uniform tips:
- Get all of your badges sewn on, so your uniform looks great! Forgot which badge goes where? Here's the layout for Youth Members (for adults, refer to this layout).
- Pack a shirt hanger for your shirt so that it does not get crushed at the bottom of your bag!
Offsite Activities:
- On your trip to Australia Zoo (Your Attraction), please wear the shirt mentioned in the "What to Wear" section. This allows you to easily find another Scout if you are "lost" and shows the public all the Scouts having a great time.
- During your day out in Maryborough (Your Sights), please wear the shirt mentioned in the "What to Wear" section. This allows you to easily find another Scout if you are "lost" and shows the public all the Scouts having a great time.
Whilst we're talking clothing, please remember to be Sun Smart at all times:
- Wide brimmed hats are to be worn at all times during the day (when outdoors).
- Modest clothing shall be worn at all times. The Jamboree isn't a fashion parade!
- Shirts with collars are strongly recommended.
- Wear a rashie at water activities.
