There are multiple accommodation locations for leaders at AJ2025:
- Staff Leaders (e.g. Service, Activity Leaders, including Rover Scouts) will be accommodated in the Leaders Subcamp (Mungomery).
- The Jamboree Executive Committee and their teams will be accommodated in the K'gari camping area adjacent to the Main Arena.
- Contingent Teams will be accommodated on their HQ site or in Mungomery.
- Subcamp Leader Teams will be accommodated at their Subcamp HQ.
- Venturer Scout Service Leaders will be camping at the Wook-Koo Subcamp.
Tents will not be provided by the Jamboree - these are to be provided by Contingents and/or individuals.
Caravans for sleeping use are not allowed on site, except where explicitly approved by the Chief Director.
240V extension leads, appliances, etc. are not to be used in Leader tents with the exception of CPAP devices.
240V supply outlets will be available in communal areas near leader accommodation.
Mungomery Specifics
- The Mungomery site will be home to a lot of people, and respect & cooperation will be critical.
- Please share tentage where possible to keep the m2/person to a minimum. No personal shade areas, etc., will be permitted – this is just a sleeping zone.
- Other Leaders working irregular or lengthy shifts (e.g. retail, arena, security, etc.) may be accommodated in the far end of Mungomery or in special areas allocated to provide shift workers with adequate peace and quiet to sleep.
- There will be a Subcamp Coordinator for Mungomery, reporting into the Cheeli Subcamp Manager. That coordinator will oversee the layout of the Subcamp, the operation of facilities and be the point of contact for any concerns.
