AJ2025 is a Dry Site.  Alcohol is banned on the Jamboree site and can only be purchased and consumed off-site.

Leader Tours & Days Off

  • Alcohol may be consumed whilst an adult is off-site and not responsible for youth members. Naturally this must also be out of sight of youth members.
  • On returning to the Jamboree Site or the presence of youth members, there should be no visible signs of intoxication or smell of alcohol.
  • No adult is permitted around youth members or on the Jamboree Site whilst under the influence of alcohol or any illicit drug.
  • In all instances where a member’s performance, conduct or behaviour suggests they may be affected by alcohol, contact their Contingent Leader or Safety & Security. An intoxicated member will be removed from site and accommodated away from youth members (at their own expense).
  • Note that any alcohol that has been privately purchased on Leader tours must be surrendered to Safety & Security upon return to site. Safety & Security Leaders will record the adults’ details and deliver these items to each relevant Contingent Headquarters for safe keeping until the end of the Jamboree (Wednesday 15 January 2025). Adults will be advised by their Contingents when to collect their purchased alcohol.

Leaders Club

  • During the Jamboree adults will be able to board a Jamboree Shuttle leaving from the Bus Terminal to attend the Leaders Club.
  • The Leaders Club is closed on Monday 6th and Wednesday 15th of January.
  • The Leaders Club shuttle commences transfers at 1730 and concludes at 2200 daily (curfew time).  The shuttles will run continuously and the last shuttle leaves Maryborough at 2145.
  • Dinner bookings at our three supporting destinations must be made via the Program Office before 1200hrs that day.
    • Maryborough Sub Branch RSL - 175 Lennox St Maryborough

    • Maryborough Sports Club - 168 Saltwater Creek Rd Maryborough

  • Adults returning to the Jamboree site will be monitored by Safety & Security personnel. Adults must respect the curfew of 2200hrs daily and whilst walking back to their campsite must keep noise to a minimum.
  • Please ensure you take your ID tag and don't miss the return shuttle as there is no pedestrian access to the Jamboree site. Late arrivals at gates will be denied entry.
  • Leaders who wish to go into Maryborough but not attend one of the nominated venues or do not have a booking, may still turn up at the bus terminal and board the shuttle.
