Patrol Based Activities
All onsite & offsite activities are completed as a Patrol.
On a typical AJ2025 day, units will have two or three patrols offsite and the remainder onsite.
One Patrol per day will be the designated duty patrol. Once their duties have been completed they can participate in the Your Choice activities. It is the patrols choice which activities they attend.
Line Leaders Required for Activities
- For Your Attraction, one leader is required to accompany your patrols.
- For Your Seaside, one leader is required to accompany your patrols.
- For Your Sights, only some leaders are required. A roster will be provided to show which Units need to send leaders with patrols.
Line Leaders may not be delegated particular tasks at the activities, but they will be expected to:
- Maintain responsibility for the safety and well-being of their Unit Patrols.
- Ensure Staff Leaders are informed of any special requirements or medical conditions of their Scouts.
- Supervise their Unit Patrols at meals.
- Ensure all Scouts are on the return bus.
This is not counted as one of the leader's days off.
